👋 Hi, I'm Sheryl. I am a frontend developer with a passion for creating fun and useful tools coupled with a superior user experience. I make tools that I would find useful for myself.

I built PostureMinder in 2015. After building it and supporting it for a couple of years, I stepped away as life got in the way and other projects took up my time. I was also a little ashamed as it was my first public project and the code was becoming outdated and poorly written (if you ask me).

This year (2024), I got an email that the extension was going to be disabled by Google unless I update to Manifest v3. Thinking that people would have uninstalled and downvoted the extension to the ground, I hesitantly visited the developer dashboard and saw that not only had the amount of users grown tenfold, but there was a lot of positive feedback from users who genuinely found it helpful.

I'm happy that many people have also found the extension to be useful -- that has motivated me to resurrect it, continue developing it and adding more features. If you found a bug or have an idea that will improve PostureMinder, send a message using our feedback form.
